Choosing should not take an evening
Whatever you are looking for, there are more options than anyone can reasonably compare. Every one of them says it is the best. And most of the pages that come up when you search are trying to sell you one in particular.
You should not have to open six tabs and read six versions of the same sales pitch to work out which one suits you. So we do that part once, properly, and put the answer on a single page.
Less time spent comparing, less money spent on the wrong thing, and a decision you can actually stand behind.
What you get here
A short list in a clear order, and a page for each entry that answers the three things that usually decide it: what it is like when you start, what it costs once you are committed, and who it does not suit. That last one saves more people more money than the other two together.
An entry has to meet what we ask of it before it goes on a list, and if we cannot say why it is third rather than fourth, it does not go on the page at all. Popularity alone does not earn a place.
Come back when the next decision comes up. Lists are revisited when something changes, and the date at the top of each one tells you when that last happened.
